15 days Escapade North

DAY 1: ARRIVAL FLIGHT -ANTANANARIVO

At the airport, after completing the visa formalities, our representative will be there to welcome you with a sign bearing your name. It will take you to your hotel. Depending on the duration and time of your arrival, you might already enjoy the life of the inhabitants of the capital.

DAY 2: ANTANANARIVO – ANDASIBE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure to Andasibe. The Eastern Way offers a panoramic view of the road. We intend to make a stop in Marozevo to discover the private reserve of Peyreiras. Enjoy a moment of relaxation in Moramanga while enjoying a meal. After that, we go to the city market for a small visit. Finally, we continue our way to the Andasibe National Park.

DAY 3: ANDASIBE

Early morning departure to the Mantadia Special Reserve. The park is located in a wetland, which makes it possible to discover many fauna and flora endemic to this place. It is the only national park that houses the largest lemur in Madagascar, the famous Indri Indri. After lunch, we will have the opportunity to explore the park of Anamalazaotra, where we can observe other species of lemurs.

DAY 4: ANDASIBE – ANTANANARIVO

Back to the capital. Afternoon dedicated to exploring the city.

DAY 5: ANTANANARIVO – DIEGO SUAREZ – 3 BAIS – Domestic flight

Departure to Ivato National Airport to take the flight TANA – DIEGO-Suarez. After arriving in Diego, transfer to the hotel. Then we will go to Ramena to explore the 3 bays. The bays of Diego Suarez are among the most beautiful bays in the world. Have lunch in the village. One can enjoy a swim on the beach of Ramena in the afternoon.

DAY 6: DIEGO SUAREZ – EMERALD SEA – DIEGO SUAREZ

After breakfast, we will leave for Ramena and embark on the schooner towards the Emerald Sea. It is a vast lagoon characterized by a turquoise hue due to its shallow water depth, combined with sandy bottoms, located in the extreme north of the country. A day dedicated to swimming at sea, with tasty fresh fish on the beach. Return to the hotel later in the day.

DAY 7: DIEGO SUAREZ – JOFFRE CITY

Early morning departure to Joffre-ville. Exploration of the Amber Mountain National Park, located 38 km from the town of Antsiranana. It is 800 meters above sea level and has a length of 1475 km, offering the opportunity to observe many species of plants and animals endemic to Madagascar on the premises.

DAY 8: JOFFREVILLE – TSINGY ROUGE – ANKARANA

Departure for the Ankarana National Park via the Red Tsingy, located about 60 km south of Antsiranana. The Tsingy Rouge comes from erosion from the Irodo River. Built from sandstone, limestone and magnes carved by erosion at the foot of the large truck, it is tinged with red ocher, white and pink. After visiting the latter, we continue our way to the Ankarana. Arrival at the Ankarana at the end of the day.

DAY 9: ANKARANA

Visit the Tsingy Ankarana National Park. We plan to spend about 3 hours admiring the wildlife and flowers typical of the park. This reserve is home to half of Madagascar’s bat species.  This park offers great adventures for trekking enthusiasts. One can contemplate the famous Tsingy Gris of northern Madagascar.

DAY 10: ANKARANA – ANKIFY – NOSY BE

Depart early in the morning to reach Ankify. Then embark by boat to the island of Nosy Be.

DAY 11: NOSY BE – NOSY KOMBA – NOSY TANIKELY

Go to the port of Ambatoloaka to embark on the boat towards Nosy Komba. After arriving on the island, we decided to make a visit. Afterwards, we will leave by boat to go to the marine reserve of Nosy Tanikely, which offers the possibility of snorkeling. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

DAY 12: NOSY SAKATIA

At the hotel, you will be met by the driver who will take you to the port and take you by boat to Nosy Sakatia. Discover the amazing preserved ecosystem of the small island as seen on a postcard. During your visit to the island, you will have the opportunity to discover a fishing village, a vanilla plantation or coffee. There are also orchids that make the small island known.

DAY 13: NOSY IRANJA

At the beginning of the day, we leave the hotel to go to Nosy Iranja, two beautiful islands separated by a long nesting area of white sand and large turtles. Discover the fishing village and take a walk on the heights to admire the panoramic view from the disused lighthouse. Enjoy a lunch on the island. In the afternoon we return to Nosy be.

DAY 14: NOSY BE – ANTANANARIVO – Domestic flight

Departure from Nosy-Be airport to board the flight to the capital. Upon arrival in Antananarivo, the representative of the agency warmly welcomes you.

DAY 15: ANTANANARIVO – RETURN FLIGHT

To finish this North circuit, we will make a tour of the city of Antananarivo. We will have the opportunity to visit the craft market, the largest market in town and the historical sites of Antananarivo, to discover the history of the Malagasy kingdom.

Transfer to Ivato airport to board the international flight.
