DAY 1: ANTANANARIVO

At the airport, after completing visa formalities, our representative will be there to welcome you with a sign bearing your name. It will take you to your hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may already enjoy the life of the capital’s inhabitants.

DAY 2: ANTANANARIVO – ANTSIRABE

We are heading to Antsirabe to participate in the great circuit of Madagascar. On the road, you can admire from afar the rice terraces and tombs of the high land of Madagascar. Our destination is Behenjy for lunch. Stop to visit a craft aluminum pot factory in Ambatolampy and explore the city. Upon our arrival in Antsirabe in the afternoon, we can go to discover the water city and visit some workshops specialized in artisanal manufacture.

DAY 3: ANTSIRABE – RANOMAFANA

Before leaving for Ranomafana, we will explore the avenue of Antsirabe in a rickshaw. We head to Ambositra, the Malagasy capital of crafts and wood carving. Visit some craft shops in the locality of Ambositra. Then we continue our way to the village of Ranomafana. By traveling this circuit South of Madagascar, you can admire the landscape of the ethnic Betsileo, with its architecture and rice cultivation.

DAY 4: RANOMAFANA – FIANARANTSOA

During this tour in the south of Madagascar, we will visit the Ranomafana national park in the morning. Ranomafana rainforest is known for its endemic flora and fauna. For the flora, we can distinguish different types of orchids and ferns. This park is home to many animals, including lemurs and chameleons. Later in the day, we head to the capital Betsileo.

DAY 5: FIANARANTSOA – RANOHIRA

After breakfast, head to Ambalavao to discover a workshop of Antemoro paper and silk making. Then we will visit the Anja reserve, which is owned by the inhabitants of the village of Iaritsena to admire the famous Lemur Catta. Continue the road to southern Madagascar through Ihosy, the capital of the Bara ethnic group. After that, we cross the plateau of Ihorombe. Once we arrive in Ranohira towards the end of the day, we can contemplate the sunset from the famous “Isalo window”.

DAY 6: RANOHIRA

By car, we head to the Isalo National Park. Enjoy a day to explore the park’s flora and fauna, while swimming in the natural pool, the black and blue pool. The park is also known for its canyon.

DAY 7: RANOHIRA – TULEAR – IFATY

Depart for the southern tip of Madagascar. Observe the first baobab in the south and discover the baobabs at Zombitse Vohibasia National Park. The arid landscape and the tombs of the Mahafaly ethnic group are a source of admiration.  Then we continue towards the fishing village which is home to the most beautiful beach in the south, Ifaty.

DAY 8: IFATY

DAY 9: IFATY – TULEAR – ANTANANARIVO – DOMESTIC FLIGHT

En route to the airport of Tuléar to board the flight towards the capital. Once in Antananarivo, the representative of the agency welcomes the guests. Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 10: ANTANANARIVO – ANDASIBE

After breakfast, we will go to Andasibe. The East Road offers a panoramic view of the road. Stop in Marozevo to visit the small reserve of Pereyras, a breeding and breeding center for many species of butterflies, chameleons, reptiles and batrachians native to Madagascar. Enjoy a relaxing time in Moramanga with a meal, then we head to the town market for a short visit. Finally, we continue our way to the Andasibe National Park. Visit the private reserve of Vakona where it is possible to approach lemurs so close that you can feed them (provided you stock up on bananas) and get photographed with one on your shoulder.

DAY 11: PARC ANDASIBE

The departure is scheduled early in the morning to go to the special reserve of Mantadia. The park is located in a wetland area, which makes it possible to discover many faunas and flores endemic to this place. It is the only national park that houses the largest lemur in Madagascar, the famous Indri Indri. After lunch, we will have the opportunity to explore the Anamalazaotra Park, where we can observe other species of lemurs.

DAY 12: ANDASIBE – TAMATAVE

We leave for Tamatave, the economic capital of Madagascar. On the way, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the landscape of the east coast of the big island. Exploring the city.

DAY 13: TAMATAVE – MAHAMBO – SAINTE MARIE

After breakfast in the morning, we leave for Mahambo. Then, we board a boat to the island of Sainte-Marie. Arrival on the island, transfer to hotel.

DAY 18: ANTANANARIVO – RETURN FLIGHT

To finish this tour, we will take a tour of the city of Antananarivo. We will have the opportunity to visit the craft market, the largest market in the city and the historical sites of Antananarivo, to discover the history of the Malagasy kingdom.

Transfer to Ivato airport for international or domestic flight to another destination.
